The Flandry Period

The Flandry Period of the Technic History divides into four parts:

(i) the Young Flandry Trilogy;
(ii) two non-Flandry sequels to the Trilogy;
(iii) the original Captain Flandry series;
(iv) what I call the "Children of Empire" sequence which overlaps with "Captain Flandry."

The "Children of Empire" are eight in number:

one granddaughter, two sons and one grandson of Hans Molitor;
one son and one daughter of Dominic Flandry;
one daughter of Max Abrams;
one son of Dragoika.

Falkayns and Holms on Avalon were pre-Flandry but another family lasts longer:

a Kittredge from Vixen in the Polesotechnic League period;
two Vixenite Kittredges in the Flandry period;
even a planet of New Vixen in the Commonalty period.

And that, unfortunately, returns us once again to the end of the Technic History.
